As a young camper I had no friends. It was the first week of camp and we went on a bowling trip and as usual the seat next to me was empty (no one wanted to sit near me! rumor was I carried a bad smell). it was very embarrassing, the pain was unbearable, watching every camper pass me by with ugly comments... Then came Levi marching onto the bus, he came right over to my seat and asked me if he can sit near me and made me feel special. To me it was a life changing event - the most popular boy in camp was sitting near me! For the rest of my life we remained friends.
