Shlichus - A Given

Levi used to go with Alex every Friday on the mitzva tank to Manhattan. Alex was the driver, and Levi was 12 years old, and they became friends. I remember Levi, full of good cheer, friends with everyone, no matter the age differences, inviting us for shabbos when we were newly married, and how impressed we were that all the boys said another part of a chassidic discourse by heart. Levi told Alex how after his barmitzva, he would be joining his older brothers, doing the same. Just naturally, like it was a given.
It was a real inspiration..
